In 2021, my husband fell in love with the idea of moving to Alaska and before I knew it, we packed up and started the adventure of a lifetime. The moment we arrived, I understood why he felt called here. There’s something magical about this place… the kind-hearted people, the mountains that stretch for miles, and the little coffee huts on every corner. (Seeing that I knew I would be just fine.)

What I love most about being a photographer here isn’t just the scenery it’s the people I meet. The tiny newborns who fit in their parents’ hands, the toddlers with wild curls and even wilder imaginations, and the families who let me freeze time for them year after year. Watching your little ones grow and helping you hold onto those moments… that’s what fills my heart. It’s not just photography to me it’s connection, storytelling, and a little bit of kismet.
